Arunodaya Sevashram (An Integrated Development Programme)
Seva visualizes a society where all human beings live with human dignity. It believes that every human being has his own rights and is in the process of offering a Helping Hand to those who are denied opportunities for economic growth, social advancement and for some who are least denied for even food and shelter. Seva concentrates on individual human rights with specific emphasis on – women, children, the elderly, the sick, the challenged children and the Rural Youth.
Integrated Development, “ Arunodaya Sevashram ”, is planned in the 2 acres of land owned by Seva in Ramireddypalli, Chandragiri Mandal, beside KMM College and before Sri Vidyaniketan Educational Institutions where we intend to construct and provide:
Ground Floor:
- Free Home for the deserted and destitute Senior Citizens (35 members) with boarding & lodging facilities. Separate dormitories for men and women to avoid loneliness and isolation
- Health Clinic for the inmates and the needy in the surrounding villages
First Floor:
- Individual rooms with attached bathrooms for sick with helpers and attached bathrooms for personal care (60 members)
Second Floor:
- Vocational Trainings for women – Income Generation Programmes, Skill Development Programmes, Empowerment Programmes
In this process, we have already constructed Ground Floor - Arunodaya Home for the Aged, where 35 deserted and destitute senior citizens are provided with good shelter, treated with good care, love and affection and are given nutritious and timely food with good health care and Health Clinic where medical services are offered to the needy at free of cost
And now, we are in the process of constructing First Floor. As there is no provision to provide aid for the construction of buildings in Government, we are mobilizing funds from the philanthropists for the proposed construction in 5000 Sq.ft (total 15000 Sq.ft, G+2 floors)
